Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Short version: Goel° is a local-first, source-available app. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking — on this website or in the app. Your downloads, history and settings stay on your machine.

This website

This site is static. It does not set cookies, does not use analytics, and does not track you. There are no accounts.

Every asset — typefaces, images, styles and scripts — is served from this site's own domain. No fonts, CDNs, tag managers, embeds or beacons are loaded from anywhere else, so no third party sees your visit at all.

The one thing you can send us is the enquiry form on the commercial licensing page. If you choose to fill it in, the organisation, email address, seat count, country, intended use and message you typed are sent to us and forwarded to a single mailbox, so that we can answer you. That data is not stored in a database, is not put into a CRM, is not used for marketing and is never sold or shared. Your IP address is not recorded with the enquiry. If you would rather not use the form, the same page lists an email address instead.

Downloads and source code are hosted on GitHub. When you follow those links, GitHub's own privacy terms apply.

The Goel° app

The app has no accounts and no analytics or tracking built in. It talks to the network only to do its job:

Download history, queue state, site logins and settings are stored locally on your device. Credentials you save are kept in the macOS Keychain. Backups are plain JSON files that you create and keep yourself.

The app is source-available — you can audit all of this in the code.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be published on this page with a new date.
