This website
This site is a static page. It does not set cookies, does not use analytics, and does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no contact forms and no accounts.
The site currently loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those font files, Google's servers see the request (your IP address and user agent), governed by Google's privacy policy. No other third-party resources are loaded.
Downloads and source code are hosted on GitHub. When you follow those links, GitHub's own privacy terms apply.
The Goel° app
The app has no accounts and no analytics or tracking built in. It talks to the network only to do its job:
- Your downloads — transfers go directly from your machine to the servers, peers or trackers you choose. No traffic passes through any server of ours.
- Update checks — the app checks for new releases (via Sparkle and the GitHub-Releases checker). You can disable this in Settings.
- Goel° Web — if you enable the web portal, it is served from your own machine, protected by a token or password. Nothing is relayed through third-party servers.
Download history, queue state, site logins and settings are stored locally on your device. Credentials you save are kept in the macOS Keychain. Backups are plain JSON files that you create and keep yourself.
The app is open source under the MIT license — you can audit all of this in the code.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update will be published on this page with a new date.
